Privacy policy
How SEN Australia collects and uses information when you contact us about solar or battery work, become a customer, or use our website.
Last updated: 22 September 2026
At a glance
- We use enquiry details to respond and assess your project.
- Our forms and website use service and measurement tools.
- You can ask about information we hold or raise a concern.
Information we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, postcode, answers about an existing solar system and anything you choose to add in a message. If you provide a street address or contact preference, we record that too. If you call or email us, we collect the information you give us in that conversation.
If you become a customer, we may keep project and service records needed to assess, quote, install and support your system. These can include property and system details, proposals, appointments and communications.
Our website also receives technical information about visits and form interactions, including page and form events, device or browser details, timestamps and whether a submission succeeded. Our form report records which field was used, rather than the value entered in that field.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to contact you, review your property and local electricity network, arrange an assessment, prepare a proposal or quote, and manage work you ask us to do.
We use website and form performance information to understand whether the site works, improve the enquiry process, protect it from misuse and measure advertising results.
Sending an enquiry does not, by itself, subscribe you to unrelated marketing. If SEN offers a separate marketing subscription, we will explain that choice where it is offered.
Website tools and cookies
The site uses Google advertising measurement tags. These may use cookies or similar browser technologies to measure visits and enquiries. A form conversion is sent after our lead receiver accepts an enquiry.
If a form offers address suggestions, Google Places may help you select an address. You can type an address manually where that option is offered. The site may use technical cookies and records needed to make forms work and prevent misuse.
Storage, security and retention
We use access controls and other safeguards to protect information held in our website and business systems. We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described here, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate.
Your requests and choices
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or raise a privacy concern using the contact details below. Please give us enough detail to find the relevant record and understand your request. We may need to confirm your identity before giving access to personal information.
We will review a privacy concern and respond using the contact details you provide. If a form offers address suggestions, you can choose to enter an address manually.
