Keep the solar you’d otherwise give away
Midday is when your panels make the most and your house needs the least. Without a battery that power goes to the grid for a few cents. With one, it waits for you.

Midday is when your panels make the most and your house needs the least. Without a battery that power goes to the grid for a few cents. With one, it waits for you.
Evenings are when the house is full, the oven’s on and the grid charges most. A battery lets you run that stretch on power you made for free that afternoon.
Plug the EV in when you get home and it fills from what your panels stored, not from the grid. If a car is on your list, we size for it.
With the right battery, backup equipment and wiring, selected circuits can stay powered through a blackout. Fridge, lights, internet, the things you’d actually miss. We tell you what’s realistic for your setup.

Garage, shed, side of the house. Yours depends on what’s already there.
Nothing is paid until you accept a written price.
We ring you. Sometimes it’s five minutes, sometimes half an hour. What solar you already have, how your evenings run, your last couple of bills, what you want a battery to do.
After the call you get a proposal built for your home, not a brochure. The battery and inverter named, what the system is designed to do across a day, and an itemised price with the incentives you’re eligible for already taken off.
If you like what you see, we come out and check the existing solar, access, switchboard and meter. It’s free. Anything the visit changes goes back to you in writing.
Every component named, with its warranty. The installation and any switchboard or meter work, priced separately. A savings estimate built on your actual bills, with every assumption shown so you can argue with it. And the rebates and certificates you qualify for, already off the price.

The Australian Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides a discount of around 30% on eligible battery installations.
The discount works through small-scale technology certificates, usually called STCs. If you assign these certificates to the retailer or installer, their value can be taken off the upfront price of the battery system.
Your exact discount is not one flat figure. It depends on the battery’s usable capacity, the value of the certificates and the date the system is installed.
Solar Victoria’s former battery rebate ended in 2023, and its interest-free battery loan closed to new applications in May 2025. For Melbourne homeowners, the current battery incentive is the federal program described above.
The conditions that decide it:
Usable capacity is the amount of stored electricity the battery can make available for your home. It can be lower than the total capacity shown in the product name.
Program information checked 12 September 2026. Eligibility and discount values can change. Final eligibility depends on the installed system meeting the program rules.
